Hi,
So is there any difference in using the Azure Analysis Services or Power BI Dataset to connect to the same exact dataset?
We used to use the Analysis Services connection before because it made it easier to point existing dashboards which used a tabular model to the same model ported to the power bi Service since we could just change the XMLS connection string. However, you can't use that in the Shared Workspace environment so we have to switch it to a Power BI Dataset anyway. So we're wondering if there's any detriment to using one connection method vs another.
Thanks
@id013 , Changing the connection type is a little bit challenging. Check if my video can help

Hi @amitchandak
So I'm not actually looking for ways to change the connection type, but rather if there is reason to use one
vs the other?
Thanks
