@Anonymous yes you can, you can connect to multiple data sources and combine/append these together.

Hi @Anonymous,

Yes, you can append Salesforce data and Excel data in Power BI using Power Query. The main thing is to make sure both tables have compatible column names and data types before using Append Queries.

One practical tip: prepare the Salesforce side first, then append it with Excel. For example, select only the Salesforce objects and fields you need, apply filters, and keep the structure close to the Excel table.

If you need a cleaner Salesforce to Power BI setup, you can also test Power BI Connector for Salesforce by Metrica Software, available on Salesforce AgentExchange / AppExchange: https://appexchange.salesforce.com/appxListingDetail?listingId=31526f0e-abd8-4cb5-bd1a-3bd56b5c0577

It lets you create a Salesforce data source inside Salesforce, choose fields, apply filters, and then use that prepared data in Power BI. If you also use Salesforce Reports, it avoids the frustrating 2,000-row limit. There is a 30-day free trial, clear docs, and responsive support:

Disclosure: I am with Metrica. We can also show a quick demo if helpful.

Best wishes,

Metrica Team.
