Salesforce Objects Connector - Source Database

Dear all,

this is a very 'beginners' question and I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to it, but still want to be sure.

I want to visualise data in the Salesforce application via Power BI. I am using the Salesforce Objects connector built into Power BI by default for this purpose (menu START > GET DATA > SALESFORCE OBJECTS).

Is there any risk that when editing the data - e.g. deleting columns - I will cause damage to Salesforce's source database (e.g. that I will lose data in Salesforce as a result)?

Thanks in advance for your reaction!

@wdvro,

Editing the data in Power BI won't impact Salesforce's source database. Edits/transformations in Power BI exist only in Power BI.
