Hello everyone.
I am trying to visualize data from the previous month with DAX, using the following formula:
Ventas M-1 = CALCULATE( [Ventas$], PREVIOUSMONTH((Calendario[Fecha])))
Additionally I would like to do a check with this other method
Ventas M-1 TD = CALCULATE([Ventas$], DATEADD(Calendario[Fecha], -1,MONTH))
While the result is generated for some of the product categories I have, but for others (Food, and Bazaar) it leaves me blank the result.
I am grateful for your help in understanding why this is happening and how it can be corrected, as the general report does not tell me this information that is important.
Thank you.
@Syndicate_Admin I did a lot of videos on time intelligence DAX function, here is the link to the playlist Make your Time Intelligence KPIs SMART - Power BI - YouTube
for your specific question, check this video in the playlist: How PREVIOUS/NEXT (DAY/MONTH/QTR/YEAR) Time Intelligence functions are different from DATEADD-Part 4...
I would ❤ Kudos if my solution helped. 👉 If you can spend time posting the question, you can also make effort to give Kudos to whoever helped to solve your problem. It is a token of appreciation!
