SWITCH with two results possible?
Hello,
Is it possible to write the following two measures in one measure? I use it for a bar chart and I want to see by selection the combinations AB/AC/AD/AE.
Display_Value_1 =
VAR _SelectedMeasure = SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Measure_Selection'[Measure] )
RETURN
SWITCH( _SelectedMeasure,
"SelectionA",[A],
"SelectionB",[A],
"SelectionC",[A],
"SelectionD",[A] )
Display_Value_2 =
VAR _SelectedMeasure = SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Measure_Selection'[Measure] )
RETURN
SWITCH( _SelectedMeasure,
"SelectionA",[B],
"SelectionB",[C],
"SelectionC",[D],
"SelectionD",[E] )

Pikachu-Power Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.- Pikachu-Power

The problem is with two measures in the values a measure in legend is not accepted.

Hi Pikachu-Power,
You can create a new table with two display values and use on raw chart legend fields, then you can use the following measure formula to switch between different results based on current axis and legend group:
Dyanmic measure = VAR selectedDisplay = SELECTEDVALUE ( Cateogry[DisplayValue] ) VAR _SelectedMeasure = SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Measure_Selection'[Measure] ) RETURN IF ( selectedDisplay = "Display_Value_1", [A], SWITCH ( _SelectedMeasure, "SelectionA", [B], "SelectionB", [C], "SelectionC", [D], "SelectionD", [E] ) )Regards,
