Hello,
I’m currently expanding my experience with power BI and I’m having some trouble figuring out the relevant DAX formula or steps I need to take to do the following.
I have two data tables, one with “Leads” that have been assigned to a customer and another with “Quotes” generated by a customer. I’ve a number of lookup tables including a calendar, customer and sales regions/persons which all have a relationship with the leads and quotes tables.
I want to allow the end user to be able to apply their own filters using slicers allowing them to select the sales region, then a customer(customers are assigned to specific regions) and then select a value lead which will in turn return two figures: total value of quotes 90 days before the lead and total value 90 days after the lead. I’ve been able to apply the slicers for sales region and customer and they are working fine, but I can’t get the slicer for the lead to work (I’m guessing it’s to do with the flow of the relationship.)
When they select a lead in the last slicer I essentially want the corresponding date created on that row to allow a calculation summing the total value of the quotes for the 90 day period before that date, and then do the same for the 90 days after.
I can’t figure out where to start with this one so any guidance appreciated.
Hi , @cjl
Sample data and expected output would help tremendously.
Could you please share your PBIX/some sample data and expected result to me if you don't have any Confidential Information?
You can upload your pbix file to OneDrive and share it with me if it is convenient.
