SQL source for Real-time streaming

I have dynamic data stored in SQL, I wanted to know what is the fastest way of deploying real-time streaming with SQL as my datasource. 

I was thinking...

SQL DS > Gateway > Real-time streaming

For testing purposes, all I want it to do is:

row is updated in sql > stream count

You may could achieve that through Azure Stream Analytics.
