SOLVED: DataSource.Error when importing a list in 2.0

Hi all, I've resolved this error - it seems that there were additional steps I missed with this import. Thank you for looking at my post. I'm not sure how to mark this as solved so I updated the subject.

Hi, I'm a brand new user and having issues importing a List that I have edit access to on SharePoint. It's giving me the DataSource.Error message in 2.0 and if I try to import it in 1.0, it imports an old version of the list. I've tried rebooting and clearing my connection so that I had to sign in again, but still get the same result. I'm going insane trying to figure this out as some lists have the same exact permissions and I'm able to access it but these lists that I actually need I'm unable to access.

Some solutions give you code to pull the data, but I don't know where to even enter code let alone learn the code 😞

Any insight would be appreciated!

What's the exact error message you are receiving? Can you share a picture?

I can't share a picture unfortunately due to confidentiality, but the message is

DataSource.Error: Web.Contents failed to get contents from 'link (guid;numbers and letters')/RenderListDataAsStream' (500): Internal Server Error

Details:

DataSourceKind=SharePoint

DataSourcePath=SharepointFolderLink

Url=link (guid'numbers and letters')/RenderListDataAsStream

I'm hoping that's enough to understand what's going on? Thanks for trying either way!
