hI,

I have this statement to resolve a comment value selected from a matrix, the problem or the help do I need is that if I filtered or select a record from the matrix it should be get the description from anothr tableas the code shown, I did code and run it bout only the message "multipel selection" has being shwoing, how can I select a record from the matrix and use that value like a key and resolve from another table?

You DAX Statement will return the value of 'Text Recommendations'[AVG_TEXT_RECOMMENDED] only when one 'New Line Balance Table'[NAME] is selected in the Slicer , when multiple Items are selected it will return "Multiple Selections" and when no selections are made in the slicer the statement would retuen "No Selections"

What do you mean by

Do you create a slicer with New Line Balance Table'[NAME]?

If you select the option in the slicer with New Line Balance Table'[NAME], based on the formula, your measure will always show ''Multiple Selections''.

I'm a little confused about your scenario, could you share some data sample which could reproduce your sceanrio and your desired output so that I can understand it better and get the solution?
