Hello,
I have a report based on a HANA view which contains a lot of data.
I used DirectQuery to handle this.
The report is very slow at displaying data and when refreshing data while using slicers.
People are working on the HANA view to make it faster.
Do you know how I can tune performance with Power BI or have some best practices?
Thanks
@Anonymous ,
I would suggest you refer to doc below about how to improve performance of direct query.

Thank you for these links. I had the opportunity to read them earlier and they provided some answers to the lack of performance.
However, are there any tips on importing a HANA view in DirectQuery mode?
I continue to look for additional resources about optimization with DirectQuery. If anyone has any information about this, I'm interested.
Thank you,
one off the topic question..
Hi Expert,
SAP HANA and BW are the free adapters available with pro license or it is with seprate cost
