I am using import method to load data from SAP BW query to Power Bi I am facing below issue:
I found one solution that I will split data into smaller chunks (by month) and then will append this tables in Power Query into one big table/query (3 years data).
But importing one month data takes like 30 minutes. I have loaded two sample months data and I tried to append this two queries using Table.Combine function but It also takes forever to load data
I need to have one dataset to create an App.
Also I need to use incremental refresh for current and forecast months
Thank you for any advises.
Hi, @Anonymous
Is it because your sample data is so large that it takes so much time? Try to refine the imported data before importing, such as removing unnecessary fields. In addition, is it helpful to connect to the data in a direct query mode? One suggestion that cannot be said is to upgrade the computer hardware.
