Running total Measure for a specific date range

I'm trying to make bar chart with a running total of costs for each project for a specific date range. Each project Has a start/end date. By selecting a project on a slicer the chart should be adjusted for the specific date range and should display only the costs for this date period.

I want to achieve something like this:

                           Costs   CostsCumulative

February 17        20       20

March 17            30       50

April 17               30       80
