Running Total Help

I'm a tableau user & used to a much easier interface (sorry if you're a die hard PBI fan).  I can't seem to find or have auto calculate how to do a simple running total & use a color legend.

I also have sorting issues and all the other things that should be extreamly easy 101 stuff.

This is the closest I've gotten to a running total, but when I put on my sales stage group it then does a running total by running total.  All I want is for my FY (7/1/2022 to 6/30/2023) to have the amount be summed from the first month to the last (a running total) with the bars color coded.  I just timed myself in Tableau & it took me 23 seconds from connecting the data source to getting the view I wanted.  Please help me with this and thank you in advance. What it should be / point, click, boom! there's your viewWhat it should be / point, click, boom! there's your viewWhy doesn't the stage continue!
