Good day,
I am having a problem where a Running Total measure is not totaling correctly in the "Totals" column and thus is affecting other calculations that are based off the Total.
I have stripped the below visual down to only show the necessary data.
The Running Total measure calculates each individual quarter correctly, but when it comes to the totals column it does not sum all 4 quarters instead it just re-returns the last quarter value as the total. In the below example the Running Total "Total" should be 826782743,78
The Inventory Adjustment measure on the other hand sums everything perfectly.
There is a dedicated Date table in play with relationships to the Inventory Transactions Table the measures are based off.
I am uncertain if this is the expected behaviour and perhaps there is another way to acomplish the required result.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and please let me know if anything is unclear or if more info is required.
The visual is a Matrix with the following elements.
Full_Cut: Full and Cut Warehouse
FY: Financial Year
FY: Financial Year Quarter
Please provide sample data in usable format (not as a picture) and show the expected outcome.
Apologies for the very delayed response with this.
Please see attached the .pbix with the expected behaviour. ie. the total of all the Running Total columns is being summed correctly.
