Hi All,
I have the following data:
Name |
Joe |
Amy |
Mary |
Mary |
Bob |
Amy |
Paul |
Amy |
In the query editor, I'd like to add a custom column that throws out a running tally of each duplicate name. That is:
Name | Duplicate tally |
Joe | 1 |
Amy | 1 |
Mary | 1 |
Mary | 2 |
Bob | 1 |
Amy | 2 |
Paul | 1 |
Amy | 3 |
I've seen solutions to this by adding a measue in modeling, but I can't find anywhere how to do this with a calculated column in the query editor. Is it possible?

See this thread. I think whatever happens you'll need an index or date(if you have it)
