Row LEvel Security

Hello

I have created a report from a Power BI Dataset. I would like to build Row Level Security, just in the Report and not the source dataset. I tried adding the RLS table and creating the relationships and adding the correct DAX formula for USERPRINCIPALNAME(). But it seems that it doesn't work. I tried it in the Source Table and it works.

Is there a way of implementing it just on the report?

Thanks

@JB_AT If you are using a Live connection on the power bi dataset, then the source power bi dataset need to have RLS.

If not a live connection, you can configure RLS in the file. Once published, you need to add a viewer to the security or the dataset. Then it will apply.

Please share how you have created and applied it
