Route data visual with different starts and ends

I am work with a data table that is the ridership on a commuter line that shows station pairs where a commuter got on and got off.  We would like to show a bar graph with the ridership between each station pair.  The pair does not necessarily start at the beginning, "A."  I am thinking I can rig a Gantt chart but before I do, I am wondering if there is an add-in visual that will do this.  Here is a mock-up of what I'm looking for:

Have a look at the Flow Map visual.  If you provide Lat/Lon of the stations this could be an interesting alternative.
