Route Map Visual - I can't use Land Routes

Hello,

I am trying to make a Route Map using the Visual Route Map (from Weiwei Cui) but it only shows air routes, without using the roads at all. I hope I have been clear in my explanation.

There may be no data related to road route in your current dataset ,right?

It seems like the custom visual which was shared by other users, I can't found any official document mentioned about this visual.

"The visual simply connects coordinates using straight lines. So does it mean that your data points are not enough?"
