I believe there is a way to retrieve data from semantic models in Power BI. This is very convenient for creating similar reports because it allows the use of the same data from existing semantic models.
I am currently creating a dashboard report that summarizes multiple existing reports. At present, I am copying queries from existing reports and recreating them in the new report. However, if there are any modifications to the datasets of the existing reports, the queries copied to the dashboard report are not updated, which makes maintenance cumbersome.
Therefore, it would be ideal if I could retrieve data from multiple semantic models. Is there a way to achieve this?
Best regards,
Lopez

Hi @roxy125, you might consider using Dataflows (Introduction to dataflows and self-service data prep - Power BI | Microsoft Learn), which are very well explained in this video - https://youtu.be/7L4bTbj6fM8?si=Yw8YHPfqob0kfJdS.
If not, the answer is yes, you can use semantic model as data source for a new report (simply select "PowerBI semantic models" in Home->Get Data.
Good luck with you project!
