Hi,
I have a dimension table of benchmarks containing the key assetID of only the benchmarks.
Further I have a fact table rate containing all assetIDs (not only those for the benchmarks), the date and the rate.
They have an active M:N relationship in both directions.
The fact table contains a large amount of data so that any measure I want to implement fails due to memory restrictions.
How can I achieve that the relationship restricts the measure to only calculate it for the benchmark assetIDs?
@Anonymous , consider a bridge table

Can you elaborate in a little more detail how that would help?
Right now I tried to solve the issue by changing the dim table so that i could change the relationship to 1:N from dim -> fact. But it still did not use the relationship before implementing the measure.
