Hi ViralPatel212 - as you mentioned, when working in Power BI Desktop, you can import data and create a local model where transformations or dataset merging is possible because all the data is stored and processed locally.
In Power BI Service, live connection mode strictly queries the underlying dataset and doesn’t allow alterations or combining other sources. This ensures the integrity and performance of the underlying Semantic Model but limits flexibility.(pbib)
