Report with dinamic images

Hello everyone!

I'm trying to show in a report some images from a SharePoint list, but I'm having some trouble to do that...

Basically, I have the sharepoint url, that leads to the picture. In Power BI I have classified the URL collumn as Image URL and I'm trying to use some visualizations that I imported from the "Power BI store". But until now I couldn't show any imagens in the report.

Has anyone ever tried this? I've seen some videos in the youtube and browsed through the Microsoft Power BI Community...but I still haven't been able to make it work.

Hi @phrbittencourt ,

You can refer this article, it introduces how to insert images into power bi in details and you can follow it step by step, hopes to help you: How to Insert Images in Power BI (Step-by-Step)

And here are some considerations you have to take:

  1. Currently power bi only support bmp, jpg, jpeg, gif, png, svg format
  2. The image URL needs to be accessible without the need for login credentials. However, if the links point to images hosted on SharePoint or OneDrive, you could work it out by getting the embed codes that point directly to the images.

Hi @phrbittencourt

Can you try putting it in a table chart, if the image displayes(This will mean there is no issue with the link)

Some visualizations have limitations on it and need you to do additional purchase to use it. On PBI Store The visialization will say

pranit828_1-1597703036417.png

When you impoerted did it had the below Chekc mark, this implies it is verified by PBI and has no bugs.
