Report connected to Power BI Dataset with RLS not working
I have a dataset with RLS configured on it and was published to power BI services.
Now, I created a report report based on this dataset (Power BI dataset) and I want the RLS to be applied to the report but it is not working. RLS works at the dataset level but when I created another report connecting to the RLS dataset it doesn't work.
Please, how can I fix the report to use the dataset RLS
Anonymous What role do you/your users have on the Workspace? Only users with "Viewer" role in the workspace will have the RLS applied to them. RLS does not apply to users with Admin, Member, or Contributor roles as they have edit permission for the dataset so RLS doesn’t apply.

Anonymous , Have assigned roles to the user on the power bi service? on Three dots of the dataset under workspace and then use security option
amitchandak - yes I created the role in power bi desktop based userprincipalname()
then i published it to power bi services and assigned role in the power bi service
Testing it on the dataset it works fine but when i report report based on the dataset as a datasource and published it doesn't implement the RLS in report
