Report Not Able to View on App
There are something seems missing but i can't figure out what happen. Below are my steps.
1. As we lost the source file, so we downloaded the pbix file from https://app.powerbi.com/
2. We renamed the report to "xxx-Dev"
3. Make changes on the filter
4. Republised it(it seems will republish to the same workspace as where it downloaded. Is there a way you can choose to publish to which workspace?
5. After published, i can see a new report with "xxx-Dev". We set "included in App=Yes". When i went to the app, i cannot see this report showing. I think notice that the owner of the new published report is empty. How can i let this new report to show on app?

Based on my experience, you need to change your dataset name and it will be considered as a new instance.
The same dataset name will result in your issues.
Hi ,
I am not sure how to change the data source name. Normal report where we have the source file i can view the data source but for this particular that download directly from pbi service. i can only see report table and table that is corresponsding to it. the rest of the function is grey out.
