Hi Anonymous,
Is there any versioning or history for old reports in pb, to verify the actual report or do you just delete the old reports or rename with the current date?
Currently, there is no version control option in Power BI. You will need to back up your old pbix files manually for now. Here is the idea shared on Power BI Ideas forum. You can vote it up and add you comments there to improve Power BI on this feature.
When we need to change the dataset from existing reports, is there a method to copy the old reports for the new dataset or must we create all reports new, for the new dataset?
With Power BI Desktop, you can change data sources for an existing pbix file. For more details, you can refer to the following thread/article. :smileyhappy:
