Hi,

I have tested it. It worked great. If I use some name that doesn't match, only error message showed up. Do you mean "power query" is Query Editor? Did you change something else at the same time. Could you please post the error screenshot?

Best Regards!

where is it not reflecting the change?  if you go into the source of your power query what does it show?   and if you refresh what happens?   have you renamed the view or have you created a new view?

Thanks for the support. I am using Direct Query Mode. I have renamed in Sql Server ,If I try to change the same name in power query, we are getting pop up to convert into Import mode. Actually we have to complete this in direct query mode.
