Please help me on the trick in Power BI Direct Quesry Mode.
I have created Power BI reports using Sql Server view with Direct Query mode. I am trying rename the View in Sql Server,but the changes not replecting in the Power BI,
Again we have to map renamed view and need to be recreate all the measures,changes we have done .
It would be greate help If can get some suggestions to rename & use the same view.

I have tested it. It worked great. If I use some name that doesn't match, only error message showed up. Do you mean "power query" is Query Editor? Did you change something else at the same time. Could you please post the error screenshot?

where is it not reflecting the change? if you go into the source of your power query what does it show? and if you refresh what happens? have you renamed the view or have you created a new view?

Thanks for the support. I am using Direct Query Mode. I have renamed in Sql Server ,If I try to change the same name in power query, we are getting pop up to convert into Import mode. Actually we have to complete this in direct query mode.

You can change the source table or source view from Advanced Editor. Details are in the picture.

Thanks for the details, Is that method will work for direct query mode,because we have tried to edit in the power query. After the changes power bi asking to switch back to import mode.
