Hi,
I'm having some trouble with uneven gaps between my columns in my line and stacked column chart. The x-axis is my date column, and is set to continuous. All data points in the chart are tagged to the first each month. When i display the chart, the columns appear with gaps between them, presumably because the months have a different number of days in them, so all columns are autosized to be 28 days 'wide' due to February only having 28 days (my best guess). As seen in the picture, the gap doesn't appear between February and March.
The bar height is equal throughout an entire year, as they represent historical forecasts of where the blue line will fall. I will hide the blue columns to get floating red columns which represent the forecast. I can achieve this by setting the x-axis to categorical, but that makes it hard to read the x-axis. The ideal solution looks like this, but with a continuous x-axis for better readability.
Does anyone have any tips for how I can achieve this?
Hi @hbirk ,
Is it possible for you to provide some test data and describe it so that I can answer it for you as soon as possible.
Best regards,
Adamk Kong
