Relative day slicer not using my date table

Hi,

Has anyone else found an issue where you use the relative date slicer, with your own date table ( i have turned off power bi's auto date functions and set my date table as a date table), and it still overrides it somehow with it own dates. So my date table finishes at 23/01/2022 but the date slicer is including 24/01/2022. If i want to look at the last 1 day i only get the 24th which has no data. I have to set it to last 2 days to see my data. I don't get where it is picking teh 24th up from.

This is a slicer on the page not in the filter pane.

Anyone know why this may be and how you could turn it off.

Thanks,

Hi @AmyJessica02 ,

Filtering by slicer differs from filter in that it does not use the "include today" function.

The selection of 24/01/2022 depends on the selection of the checkbox corresponding to the date field in the filter. If you want to display only the data corresponding to the full number of days then uncheck "include today" (the data for 24/01/2022 will not be included).

@AmyJessica02 , I think the relative date slicer is based on today's date?

Thanks for your reply! Do you know if thats the default setting? Seem's strange it only uses it for that and you can't edit.
