Relative Date filtering on a visual

Hi

I need to filter a visual by the last 12 months, as per below. This is working absolutely fine.

However, i have "reporting month" in a different table to the one above that i am trying to use to filter a particular visual and it doesnt give me the relative date filter type, see below.

Any ideas?
