Relationship Within A Range

I'm struggling to locate how to complete an advanced relationship where the data required in the target dataset is more than simply source=target.

I have a dataset of financial periods used by the company that contains a column for: period title, start date and end date.

I also have a dataset of sales data. I need to map the sale to the relevant financial period. Which means my relationship is:

SalesDate>=PeriodStart and SalesDate<=PeriodEnd. 

How do I set this up in PowerBI?
