Registration pop-up

    Hi SNV,

    You can create an idea here. The product group will consider the feature request if more people vote it. And Power BI will become better after your support.

That is the pop-up the users see, yes.

It would probably disappear when users sign in, but I don't want to let them sign in.

I understand that when starting up Power BI Desktop for the first time you get that pop-up. But if you decline I think it shouldn't appear everytime you start Power BI Desktop.

I want the option to just start a new installation of Power BI Desktop and not get that pop-up or only the very first time and when you decline it, it doesn't reappear without forcing the users to register.

You can use Power BI Desktop without an account right?

Hi SNV,

Yes, we can still use the Power BI desktop without account. But it shows the registration pop-up every time I use it. So I suggest you sign up an Power BI account for free. It's convenient to use it.

    Hello Angelia,

     

    I know that it is possible to use it without an account and that it might be convenient to sign in. But I would like the option to use Power BI Desktop without signing in and without everytime getting the registration pop-up. Hopefully that will be possible in the future.
