Regarding Fact vs Dimension in slicer

Hi,

What is the difference, if we make product name column from dimension product table vs product name column from fact table in the slicer to find the total sales in each product

Which column we needs to be use in general

Please explain

@SelvakumaranM , Column from dimension is preferred, Fewer data to search in the smaller table to filter and that can filter larger table.

When you need to use all/allselected using it product table will ensure other dimensions are impacted
