Reg. Small Multiple Line Charts

Hi Community,

Thanks once again for the previous bug fixing v-danhe-msft .

I am facing the same problem for the custom chart from the marketplace "Small Line charts".

https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Line-chart-is-not-breaking-the-line-if-there-is-no-data/m-p/540446#M253777

For line chart line breaking is working fine but when i used small multiple line chart visual it is showing zero value instead of line breaking or no data.

v-danhe-msft Could you please have a look into this. Is there bug from PowerBI side. For Sample data you can use above link.

Best Regards,

Ravi

    Hi Anonymous

After reading through this thread and confirm with v-danhe-msft

    https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Line-chart-is-not-breaking-the-line-if-there-is-no-data/m-p/540446#M253777

it says that when you set the 'Type' in the X-Axis format as 'Categorical', then if there is any blank value, the line will break or show no data for that point.

When you set the 'Type' in the X-Axis format as 'Continuous', the line would igonre the blank value and go on, like this

However, the Axis of "Small Line charts" is set as 'Continuous' by default, i can't find any option to modify this.

So it is showing zero value instead of line breaking or no data by default.

As you are using the Small Line charts which is developed by Daniel Marsh-Patrick , I would suggest you contact him for help as suggested here by sending an email to [email protected]

    Best Regards

    Maggie
