Refreshing a excel stored in on prem SharePoint 2019 issue

I brought data from an excel which is in Sharepoint 2019. 

I used Power BI Desktop to connect using data gateway. 

everything seems to work fine other than the refresh.

this is the error i get when i try to refresh or schedule an auto reresh of the data.

Data source error: Scheduled refresh is disabled because at least one data source is missing credentials. To start the refresh again, go to this dataset's settings page and enter credentials for all data sources. Then reactivate scheduled refresh.

my creedntails are right, how else i would connect to the data

First create a data gateway to the on prem SharePoint then follow

Make sure the gateway is selected for that particular SharePoint source if you have multiple sources? I'm not sure if you're the gateway admin or not, but you want to make sure that the connection it's using for the gateway is valid also.
