Refresh vs Reload - deleted sql data still showing in PBI
Hi, maybe someone can elaborate; I'm using PBI Desktop to build the reports.
PBI collects data from a sql server without any problems. Data refresh takes about 2 minutes for 10M records. But now we had some record deletions in the original sql database. Still after refreshing PBI these records show up. I assumed refresh was reloading all data - because everytime the dialog shows the 10M records being refreshed. BUT maybe it just refreshes records that it cannot find in PBI and so leaves the deleted sql records in PBI.
If this is the case. How can I empty and reload data into PBI instead of refresh?
Help appreciated.

HI BM_,
Perhaps You can consider using 'live' mode to connect to the database, it will keep these data live and reload them every time you interacted with them.
