Refresh table data from excel sheet daily without opening the sheet

Hi all,

I created a PowerBI visualization of some excel sheets. In those excelsheets we have KPIs, for example a non-conformity. It has a due date and in excel the 'days to go' is calculated in a column by =the due date-TODAY. This numeric value is part of the dashboard I created. However, those Excel sheets are not opened on a daily basis. Most people tend to look in the powerBI to see how many days to go. However, the days to go is not updated when you refresh powerBI. It seems only to update if you physically open the excel sheet. Is there a possiblity/trick to daily refresh the calculation in Excel without opening it? In that way, the days to go in the PowerBI are accurate.

Thanks in advance.

Hi! I recommend calculating the days to go in Power BI with a measure so that it is accurate.
