Hello,
How can I refresh the last specific days only in power bi desktop and keep all the data without having to use the incremental refresh and power bi services?
Best regards,
Muhammad Ezzat
@Anonymous Hi,
Implement incremental refresh on the local PBID doesn't work in theory.
The dataset of the PBID tabular model cannot be dynamically partitioned currently,
The only way is to use SSAS or Azure AS as the data source of Power BI and back-end model management because the data sets of SSAS and AAS can be dynamically partitioned, this means that the same data set can have two SQL statements that use different WHERE conditions, and they can be processed separately. But in Power BI Desktop, you can't do that.
Mark this post as solution if this helps, thanks!
