Hi all,
I am connecting BI to a data cube using the live connection. Is it possible to use the import method while still having the data show up to date at all times? the live data mode seems to bring in too much data and is slowing everything down.
Thank You!

"Is it possible to use the import method while still having the data show up to date at all times?"
No, these two things are mutually exclusive.
The live connection only brings in as much data as is needed to render the visuals on the first page that appears. Reduce the number of visuals, use Small Multiples etc. Use the Performance analyzer to see where exactly it is slow.

@lbendlin thank you, since I have to bring in all the data in the cube do you have any suggestions on optimizing the report.
