Receive email alert when visual reaches certain data point
All,
I have a line chart and would like to receive an email or some type of alert if the chart reaches the value 0.
Is this possible, any suggestions?

All thank you for the replies.
Would it be possible to set up with an excel file? I read that I must be using "streaming data". Is this true?

Hi @aishak12
You can send automatic mail for data alert by Power Automate
This alert you can configure form Power BI Dashboard and only support for the CARD VISUAL and GAUGE VISUAL
You may follow this video for refrence:-https://youtu.be/AroolNHeY8o
You can use SUBSCRIBE option in Workspace report or App report to send mail to user with screenshot of the report page on specified interval or after report refresh. (value reach 0 logic is not work for subscription). It is free feature for Power BI.

You can set up data driven alerts against visuals displayed in a dashboard (Set data alerts in the Power BI service - Power BI | Microsoft Docs). IMO this feature is half-baked and really only has limited use cases. I'm not a fan.
You can also use Power Automate to expand the list of recipients based on a Power BI alert (Integrate Power BI data alerts with Power Automate - Power BI | Microsoft Docs) - again, this is limited to dashboards only.
A more flexible approach using Power Automate might involve running a DAX query against your dataset in PA using the Power BI API to get the value from your dataset that you want to trigger against. You can then use PA to send emails, SMS, etc.
Finally, there's a third party solution called Power BI Report Scheduler. In addition to creating and managing report subscriptions, there's also a trigger function built into the software (Power BI Report Scheduler & SSRS Distribution with PBRS (christiansteven.com))
Hope this helps!

@aishak12 This is most often done using a Dashboard and alerts in the Service although only certain visuals are supported, such as Card visuals. Might also be done using Power Automate.
