Hi guys,
I work on a report that should be used by several locations with different timezones in SSAS. The main datetime column is in UTC time.
Is PowerBI able to adjust the datefilters, etc. in a report to always reflect the local timezone where the report was opened?
I find several examples in the forum where people explain how to add a new column and calculate another timezone based on the UTC time column. But adding a new column with a specific local timezone will still hardcode the datefilters to a specific timezone?
Is there a better way?
PowerBI should be aware that this is UTC time and PowerBI knows what the local timezone is.
The goal would be:
Someone in the PST timezone opens the report and all dates and datefilters work with their local PST time.
Someone in the CET timezone opens the report and all dates and datefilters work with their local CET time.
thanks!
