Ranking stores

Hi all , 

I'm looking at making a "all time" overview of each store in terms of ranks so each store is able to see essenitally a history of their ranks so x amount of rank ones for example.

I'm currently using a ranking measure but from my understanding i will need to make the rank a new column so therefore a record is kept of their rank 

I have tables such as a date table ,  a device table and a usages table all connected with a dim date column. 

I'm wondering how is best to go about creating the column which will keep a record of their previous ranks , It would be a monthly Ranking so Rank based on Monthly Consumption.
