Hello!
I have a matrix visual that displays the values from a field parameter by month as well displaying the row totals. I wanted to be able to dynamically sort and filter this visual to a top n results based on a separate column outside of the visual, so I created a measure and another parameter to do it using this technique and with an accompanying slicer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-90XPWIekA. I do not want that separate column within my matrix.
Though my matrix now displays the top n results based on my slicer, they are not in order. For example, when I set the visual to show the top 3 results, it shows the top 3 in the order 1,3,2 because that is the alphabetical order. It does not sort based on the separate column I mentioned. How do I solve this issue?
@LexiW , Matrix column can sort the column based on column name or sort column. And Your sort column can be based on static value. So it doubt you can do much here
