I am trying to return the rank of OUR product in a matrix.
I can get the correct ranking in a table consiting of all OEM's, but I need to pick up only my OEM ranking and display that
When I attempt this I get 1 everytime.
I have an example file to show my problem
Hi,
To help you more precisely, I would need more information, but I hope I can help.
Your problem seems to get a ranking within a group of rows (your OEM).
Depending on your matrix, but here is one of the way to do it :
If you have a Matrix with the Brand and Technology and you want to rank the Technology inside the brand, you need to remove the Technology filter to get it.
The DAX is :
RANKING In BRAND =
RANKX(
ALL( Query1[Technology] ) , //Table in which the ranking is made
[TOTAL SALES EURO] )//Measure to evaluate for ranking
Hi not sure about the dataset, however it appears the link to my pbix may have been incorrect
this should make much more sense....
