i need to display data in report based on different business segments (example Finance, HR) in such a way so that people belong to finance should see only finance data and people belong to HR should see HR data. i have implemented below role for finance in power bi . there is no email address column in all tables . if i publish this report on power bi service and assign this role to finance person then will he be able to see only finance data in report?

@powerbiexpert22 , You can Test it yourself firs by using Test As option if it works still you will need to assign users to this roles in Power BI service
In the Power BI Service, navigate to the dataset for your report.
Click on the "Security" option.
Assign users to the roles you created. For example, assign finance users to the "Finance" role.
