Hi All,
I wonder if you could provide some guidance on the issue that I am facing with RLS in power BI. RLS is restricting the view only when I do a dataset > security > test as role, but then when I click the main report the RLS doesn't seem to be working, so the whole purpose of RLS restricting data to assigned user is not at all working on the main report.
Could you suggest if I am missing on something here please. Thanks in advance for your help.

I used the expression USERPRINCIPALNAME() to compare the email address of the assigned user.
In the Dataset where you published the report, click on the 3 dots and click on Security, there you will need to input the email address of the assigned user:
I hope this helps! As I've encountered this previously.
