RLS for entire organization -- any known limitations?

Hi to all,

we've developed a nice Power BI report for the managers of a client.

Now they'd like to deliver a similar report to ALL the employees of the company (we're talking of about 4.000 employees).

And every employee should see only his portion of the data, so there should be the RLS.

We've done many reports with RLS, but never for the entire organization, and I'm just worried that might be any limits. A quick search on the Microsoft Learn didn't show anything, but I'd like to know if anyone has any experience.

I have done the implementation of a RLS to several reports on a company and we are talking around 25K users overall, and we had no problem in terms of the setup be aware that this was a simple setup of User / Businnes unit so we only did the USERNAME() = NameInDimensionTable.

The only problems that I can see if you have a more complex question is about the load times because if you need to do a lot of DAX calculation in order to filter your data it can get slow, but this is also depending on the data volume, the type of model and the relatinships, not the amount of users you have.

But this are just my experience, hope it helps.
