RLS, but for columns?
Greetings everyone!
I have a report where one of the pages contains a table with 30 columns. However, not everyone can have access to these 30 columns.
Because of this, one solution I thought of was to create several separate reports, assigning RLS to limit people's access.
1 report with 10 table columns, 1 report with 15 columns, 1 report with 20 columns...1 report with 30 columns
However, providing maintenance, when necessary, on all these reports is too time-consuming.
Is there any way to create just 1 report that, based on the person's email, only shows the columns they should see?
Best Regards,
Hi Anonymous ,
For this you need to use OLS (Object Level Security) and not RLS please see the links below:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/enterprise/service-admin-ols?tabs=table

There are more links available but you can start with these ones.
