this is the error
Error Message:
MdxScript(Model) (92, 5) Calculation error in measure 'FACT_TransactionCharge'[$ Revenue YoY%]: Function 'SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR' expects a contiguous selection when the date column comes from a table on the 1-side of a bi-directional relationship.
I don't understand what this means
can someone please help me
Thanks
Hi @edavila ,
What this error means is that the column you are using on the measure to calculate the SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR is coming from a table that doesn't have continuous dates.
Are you using a calendar table to make the calculation or only a column with fact data?
You need to have a column that starts on january 1st and ends on 31st December, this need to be within several years period.
