Question regarding mixing/interacting of two or more slicers

Hi All!

I have a question regarding, I think, switching/slicing Attributes, let me explain.

I've made an example file.

1) Let's say I have a set of SKUs, that are united into Categories and Groups (Picture 1)

2) I switch to Category 1 and Group 1, everything works fine (Picture 2).

3) And now the interesting part begins: I want to switch to Category 2. I check it and everything dissapears. And that is alright, there is no SKUs that are both Category 2 and Group 1. Group 1 stayed checked (Picture 3).

4) But I want to see something in this situation: I want to manage it. I want it this way: When I change the Category, the Group should clear its filter, or switch only top3 or something. How can I do it?

Hierarchy Slicer is not a good option, because it can be very many groups and subgroups.Picture1.PNGPicture2.PNGPicture3.PNG

Thank You very much for your help!

@Anonymous this is a known functionality, unfortunately, you cannot clear the slicer values and if a category doesn't have a previously selected group, it will show up in the group list as selected option and use have to manually clear it. I think there is an idea on this on ideas forum, please vote for it.

I would 💖 Kudos 🙂 if my solution helped.
