Question on training

In this training/learning, it says "One of Power BI's strengths is that you don't need to flatten your data into a single table. Instead, you can use multiple tables from multiple sources and define the relationship between them." Is that to make it easier for non-developer types to build something in Power BI? Is flattening a good idea in Power BI?

If it not already flattened, then one should not.  There are many formulas which work better in star schema
